Media & the Message: Wildlife Filmmaking & Survival in the 21st Century
May 8-15, 2010

The International Wildlife Film Festival is the premier venue for wildlife filmmaking and filmmakers. Often called the Sundance of the Wildlife Film genre, IWFF is an annual gathering where film, television, new media, science and conservation converge.

IWFF was the first wildlife film festival in the world and today, has the distinction of being the longest running wildlife film festival, attracting over 10,000 people from around the world each year.  We invite you to be a part of this important event and celebration!

As an international film and conservation media center for filmmakers, broadcasters, scientists, educators, and students, IWFF provides a unique opportunity for sharing ideas and the development of proactive projects that impact what happens to our planet.

The International Wildlife Film Festival is both a Filmmaker's Festival, as one of the most important wildlife film events in the world and a Community Festival for Missoula and all of Montana. Known worldwide for its welcoming and intimate atmosphere, IWFF is a learning and networking opportunity for filmmakers, while providing a unique venue that enables conservation and film projects to flourish in a creative environment. Please Join Us!
