Bringing IWFF to your classroom...

Introducing the Wildlife Film Safari

Bring the best of the International Wildlife Film Festival & IWFF’s Montana Film Academy into your classroom or school! Our Wildlife Film Safari program combines media literacy with science, wildlife education and hands-on technology training in the media arts.

New! After School Wildlife Film Safari>>

Through the Wildlife Film Safari, students explore the exciting world of wildlife and documentary filmmaking and watch award winning films with presentations by our Media Center staff, biologists, and film instructors.
Each program can be individualized to meet the different needs within your classroom or school.

The Wildlife Film Safari brings award-winning film clips enhanced by presentations from biologists and filmmakers along with hands-on filmmaking lessons created just for your students. Our goal is to help to bring the best of the IWFF into your classroom and engage students in the study of science, while introducing students to the filmmaking process with a special focus on wildlife film.  This program helps students gain a greater appreciation for and understanding of wildlife topics, nature and filmmaking- an experiential tour of the exciting field of wildlife and natural history film.
