Secrets of the Whales- Orca Dynasty

An orca poses with its quarry for National Geographic photographer Brian Skerry. The New Zealand population of whales are the only known members in the world to pursue stingrays on the seabed. (National Geographic/Kina Scollay)

From executive producer James Cameron and narrated by Sigourney Weaver, Secrets of the Whales follows photographer Brian Skerry as he ventures into the world of whales to reveal life and love from their perspective. The four-part event tells the stories of five whale species—orcas, belugas, narwhals, sperm whales, and humpbacks. Viewers witness whales making lifelong friendships, teaching clan traditions to their young, and grieving the loss of loved ones.
