wild innsbruck - between culture and alpine nature

Synopsis: Wild Innsbruck explores the fragile yet adaptable wildlife of the Austrian Alps. The influence of tourism, recreational activities, industry, and traffic, as well as the vital protective measures against natural events such as avalanches and mudslides, have forced chamois, ibexes, stoats and ptarmigan to be creative in adapting and adjusting to their habitat near the alpine city of Innsbruck.
Not a part of the 2020 Virtual festival, will be scheduled for future IWFF Presents 2020 monthly screenings at The Roxy Theater.
