What does nature mean to you? Lost for Words takes What does nature mean to you? Lost for Words takes its audience on a journey around the UK, portraying natural landscapes and the communities that live within them. Our starting point is the disappearance of nature words from the Oxford Junior Dictionary in 2007. Inspired by Robert MacFarlane and Jackie Morris’s best-selling book The Lost Words, it is lost words like acorn, otter, bluebell, and dandelion that guide us through the film. Lost for Words is an invitation for each of us to reconnect to our own environment and sparks a vital question: What is our future, and how can we approach it with kindness?

In 'Kingdom of Fish,' Martin Falklind explores the In 'Kingdom of Fish,' Martin Falklind explores the possibilities of helping the fish to roam freely. Many fish need free-flowing water in order to reproduce. But in rivers and streams, they are often obstructed by hydroelectric dams and other obstacles that we humans have built. We also meet Sweden's first inhabitants after the ice age, the char, and 12-year-old Edvin, who does everything he can to help fish.

And in 'What the River Knows,' a lost Eden drowned under Lake Powell re-emerges, revealing the follies of the past and a new way forward for the Colorado River. This film explores this unique inflection point in a centuries-long history: at the same time that we are met with the need to redesign our systems of water management in the west, we are presented with the opportunity to restore one of the most stunning landscapes on the planet.

These two spectacular stories of protecting the world's rivers will be screening on Wednesday, April 22nd, at 7:30 pm.

Trade Secret follows three unlikely allies on a mi Trade Secret follows three unlikely allies on a mission to protect polar bears from international commercial trade. Filmed over six years across nine countries, the film exposes the sanctioned sale of hundreds of polar bears each year on the global market. But as the investigation deepens, it uncovers a disturbing truth: those entrusted with safeguarding the species may be entangled in their continued commercialisation. The film raises urgent questions about how we protect vulnerable species in a world where the lines between protection and exploitation have become blurred.
