This student showcase features two short films created by young filmmakers exploring the natural world.
The first film, “Alpacas!” offers a charming look at these playful and unique animals. The second film, “The Pack: Wolves of the Sierra Valley,” takes a more complex and thought-provoking turn by examining the tensions between wolves and humans in California.

Focusing specifically on the Tahoe-Truckee and Sierra Valley regions, the film examines the complex intersection of wildlife conservation, the ranching industry, and local community impact.
